End-to-end IP communication
Another Cisco highlight during CeBIT 2005 will be the live demonstration of a complete, secure IP communications solution for enterprises, subsidiaries and home offices as well as Service Provider solutions. In addition to IP phones, CTI tools (Computer-Telephony Integration), Unified Messaging and the IP Contact Center call center software, video Telephony and audio/web-conferencing with MeetingPlace will round out the end-to-end communications solution. This year, there will once again be a special focus on the convergence of IP Telephony and security mechanisms for IP Telephony solutions as well as on Voice-over-Wireless-LAN (Local Area Network) and on the management of IP Telephony solutions. Demonstrations will also reveal how the IP communications products work together seamlessly with such media gateways as the Cisco Integrated Services Routers. At the Cisco booth, customers from the fields of retail, production and government offices who use the Cisco IP communications solutions will show visitors how these applications actually work.
